AUSTRALIA’SÂ biggest love rats work in real estate, sales and marketing, construction and call centres.
If you’re the type who strays, hook up with a retiree they’re the people most likely to forgive a cheater.
But pack your bags if you’ve done the dirty on someone who works in finance.
They’re the nation’s least forgiving of cheaters, a national online survey shows.
The Great Australian Sex Census revealed that the people least likely to have a bit on the side work in IT or are studying.
About half of Victorians admitted to catting around, with men slightly more likely to stray than women.
When former PM Paul Keating dissed the ACT, he wasn’t taking into account their infidelity stats, which are nation-leading.
More than 53 per cent of lovers in the ACT admit to rooting around, compared to faithful South Australians, only 44 per cent of whom confess to a fidelity fade-out.
Other states with a high number of cheaters are WA, Tasmania and NSW.
The people most likely to be cuckolded are customer service and call-centre workers as well as unemployed people and hospitality workers.
But Australians are almost an even-money bet to forgive, though women are less understanding than men.
Non-cheaters and cheaters alike aged over 18 can be in the survey by responding at www.sexcensus.com.au before October 31.
